The thickness and weight of a knitted jumper can be measured by its ‘Gauge’. The
higher the Gauge, the thinner and finer the knit. Many of our Christmas jumpers are a
‘12 Gauge’, however the amount of colour in the jumpers means there are more yarns
used, which, in turn gives these jumpers a much thicker and woollier appearance.
